The production of the Rocket would not have been possible without design and manufacturing input from the following specialists.

Bob Curl
Development engineer from Brede in Sussex who developed the shape and form of the car from the original drawings. Bob is ex-Lotus, designed and built the successful Nomad Sports Car, worked on the Hesketh Formula l car and continues to carry out development work for major manufacturers.

Tony Mundy
Recommended by Bob Curl as the very best person with whom one would entrust the major task of actually building the chassis. Tony's company, Jamun Racing Services is currently enjoying considerable success in Formula Ford racing. He and his band of ex-G.E.T. men were responsible for "head up displays" on such names as the F16 Fighter. His team's input both on a practical level and design-wise is entirely responsible for the excellent Standard of engineering, finish and practicality of the fmished product. A culmination of two year's dedicated effort.

Barry Shepherd
Heads up Rawlson, a company with 20 years' experience in high performance glass fibre products encompassing carbon fibre technology. They have built many light-weight bodies for sports car racing and carry out prototype work for General Motors. They are responsible for the glass fibre "sandwich" bodywork, carbon wings, light pods and dash. All of the detailed design work was done "in house" and their ability to come up with the right solution to difficult problems is now being relied upon as normal.

Oz Timms
"Supremo" of Titan Motorsport have supplied all castings and machinings and have been responsible for the design of certain components. Through the services of their resident design engineer Terry Slipper, and with the use of the latest Cad-Cam design facility, they have produced for us light weight castings and machinings of enviable quality. This company has a history of 20 years' of supplying parts to the motor racing industry, including such names as Cosworth Engineering, Ralt, March, Swift and Caterham Cars etc.

Peter Weismann
Really needs no introduction, his history in motor sport is legendary. His transmissions have been fitted to numerous Indianapolis winners, Formula l cars and off-road vehicles. This transmission, which is unique to the Rocket was designed and developed by Traction Productions (Peter's company in Los Angeles). This has enabled us to achieve reverse gear as well as a limited slip differential and a two speed range for the five ratios. All this in a compact 14" long transaxle unit which also provides location for the rear suspension.

Russel Savory
Engines are under the care of Russel Savory. He is the leading light in "Bike Tunis" having gained outright wins at the Isle of Man TT races as well as regular successes throughout the UK.

Steve Tillet
Ex Kart Champion Steve is responsible for the driver's seat.

Richard Ward
Richard has been responsible for the design co-ordination including that of our beautiful badge, its application to the promotional material, stationery etc., as well as the main launch and exhibition at the Design Museum.

All these contributors have shown extraordinary enthusiasm throughout the project.
