The car was originally mid-blue. It exchanged owners for the first time
in 1998. The second owner changed the livery in the McLaren West racing
colours as a tribute to Gordon Murray. He also put the race engine in
it (160Bhp), changed the carbs and suspension (Ohlins). It went to the
Netherlands in 2005 after it was sold to the third owner. He sold it
one year later to the current owner, who drove chassis R029 to Stanford
in the Vale for a complete check-up immediatly after he purchased it.
The livery will be changed this winter. Suggestions are welcome.
